Wednesday Afternoon at Studio 7

Hi Everyone,

Summer is here - kids are out of school and schedules are a little crazy trying to get used to a new routine. DON'T forget yourself in all of this summer newness! Just remember that a 30 minute circuit workout - done correctly - burns up to 600 calories. This doesn't mean you leave here and eat, eat, eat.....it just means that if you commit to 30 minutes (for yourself) daily - think about the difference that commitment can make to your physical and emotional self!

Me Again!!!

I was reading some literature from my website (above) and ran across the 10 Essentials for Health and Wellness. Here is my somewhat abbreviated version:

10. and I quote, “Nurture the spiritual aspect of your life to achieve complete well-being”.

Tuesday Afternoon

Hi Ladies,

I was sitting here thinking.....oh no! here I go again.....

Day in and day out I hear some of you talk about your 'body' image issues. One comment that keeps repeating itself ....I really want to get rid of this belly fat...and my 'love handles'...

Sound familiar? Even if you haven't said it out loud, many of us 'think it' at some point in our day. The good news and the best news - good news first. Gearing Up for The Weekend!!!

Hi Ladies,

We have almost made it to the weekend and I want each and every one of you to know how very proud I am of your 'focus'! Great job this week .... you stayed on track with your diet and your workout...the week is ending and the weekend is about to begin!

With that in mind, stay on track over the weekend too! If you fall off track, just move thru it - DO NOT GET STUCK!

As a reminder, classes start June 1st at the Studio so inquire at the Front Desk. I am working on a calendar but....some challenges getting info populated. If any of you know of an easy calendar that would capture recurring information and allow me to put time / class name / age groups - multiple entries per day - email me and let me know!

OK - so I am off to keep things running here at the Studio.....see you all and remember - Saturday I open at 8:00 and close around Noon.......

May Is The Month To Make It All Happen!!!

Hi Ladies -

OK - so we are well into the early part of May and....you are diligently working on your fitness goals....right?!?

Still struggling? Here is a tip: Just Do It! Sound familiar - yep! athletes world wide know this phrase...and, they practice it...daily! Remember the one: if you dream it, you can be it! Well....the dream you have to a leaner, toner You is attainable! This is not a dream....it is reality....JUST DO IT!! Remember, it takes a combination of your thoughts, your desire and your effort to make YOUR fitness goals...YOUR reality!

At Studio 7 Women's Fitness it takes only 30 minutes to strengthen, tone and get a UNIQUE cardio workout! Only 30 minutes! You burn up to 600 calories when you complete a focused, 30 minute workout!

New Month, New Goals, New You!!

Hi Ladies,

I hope the last day of April finds us all happy and well within the goals we set for ourselves this year!

It is a new month and some, if not all, of you are contemplating shorts and swimsuits and tanned skin! In the past month I have seen most of you work out at least 4-6 times per week. As we know, the workout at Studio 7 Women's Fitness is not 'fluff' - it is the real deal. You learn quickly that even when you think you will not put your full effort into the workout (that's right - you know, kind of take it easy!)....well, there is no easy.....it is an excellent workout even on a low energy day!

As the weekend approaches and we make plans with family and friends for dining out or having a 'sip' by the pool ....Stay accountable to yourself! Watch your calorie intake and remember....that glass of wine or beer is loaded with calories and carbs! Ditto that cake or cookie or specialty drink at Starbuck's! If you indulge or over indulge - remember to move on and don't let it overwhelm you and make you feel defeated! If you can, do some stretches or go for a walk - add a little extra movement into your routine to make up for the 'indulgence'.

Most importantly, stay focused, recommit and move forward - don't look back!
