I was reading some literature from my website (above) and ran across the 10 Essentials for Health and Wellness. Here is my somewhat abbreviated version:
1. Breathe Deeply - Let your lungs fill deeply down, hold, then exhale toxins and stress;
2. Water Is Your Friend - Quench your thirst and get a boost of energy by drinking water;
3. Develop and keep a regular sleep routine;
4. Nourish your mind and body by choosing healthy, nourishing foods;
5. Get rid of the sofa (kidding) – but do get off of the sofa…..an active lifestyle is a major factor in overall improved health and wellness;
6. Enhance your immune system by giving and receiving….love;
7. Letting go of grudges allows you to free up the ‘space’ to receive ‘good’ things…..so, Be Forgiving;
8. Too much stress? Stop a minute and make a mental Gratitude List –de-stressing can add to greater happiness and health;
9. and I quote, “Worry will shrink, serenity will grow”….if you can’t change it, accept it and move on;
10. and I quote, “Nurture the spiritual aspect of your life to achieve complete well-being”.
